The Rochester Democratic Town Committee is coordinating a non-perishable food drive to benefit local families in need. The drive will run February 2-16 . Collection boxes are located at Rochester Town Hall, Plumb Memorial Library, and Lloyd’s Market, 8 Hartley Road. All donations will be delivered to Damien’s Pantry in Wareham, whose mission it is to help end hunger in the South Coast region of Massachusetts. The second annual John Walsh Breakfast was held on January 10th in Plymouth. Three members of our committee are committee members and two of them are on the PCDL Board of Directors. The breakfast was a great success and well attended. Speakers included Senator Ed Markey, Attorney General Andrea Campbell, State Auditor Diana DiZoglio, and Chairperson Jess Laverty. In an effort to get food to families and people struggling with food insecurity, the members of the Rochester Democratic Town Committee donated food for Damien's Pantry which serves Rochester and neighboring communities.
