The Democratic Town Committees of Acushnet, Fairhaven, Mattapoisett, and Rochester, together with the Plymouth County Democratic League, will host a screening of The Last Class , a documentary featuring former U.S. Secretary of Labor Robert Reich, on Wednesday, April 15 at 6:30 PM at the AMC Theater in Dartmouth . The Norwegian red hat ( nisselue ) is a historical symbol of Norwegiannational identity and patriotism. The red pointed hat with a tassel representsthe nisse, a mythical, mischievous gnome. The hat was a powerful, nonviolent form of resistance against the Nazi occupation during WWII, symbolizing cultural identity and providing a subtle visual declaration of defiance. Worn to boost morale and foster unity, it became so popular that the Nazi authorities outlawed the hat in 1942

The Rochester Democratic Town Committee will be hosting its 2026 Caucus on Monday March 9th  at 6pm . Early registration will start at 5:30 pm. The 2026 Massachusetts Nominating State Democratic Convention will take place at the DCU Center in Worcester on Friday and Saturday, May 29 th  and 30 th .  The RDTC caucus will take place at the Joseph H.
